* Private Co. F 149th Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Drafted Mustered in Aug. 20, 1863 at age 20 as Private in Huntingdon, Pa. 
* Died Sept. 30, 1864 of Typhoid Fever at Annapolis, Md. while a prisoner of 
war. 
* Served Aug. 20, 1863 - Sept. 30, 1864 - 13 month 10 days
