* Born June 12, 1844 in Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Died July 13, 1938 in Magnolia, Illinois 
* Buried in Magnolia Cemetery 
* Private Battery K 212th Regiment 6th Pa. Heavy Artillery 
* Enrolled Aug. 23, 1864 as Private at Fort Ethan Allen 
* Mustered out July 13, 1865 
* Pension records show that in Apr. 1921 at age 77 he was nearly blind and was 
suffering from Kidney Disease 
* Brother of Levi Hauger 
* Invalid Pension: Applied Aug. 16, 1890 and Mar. 1 or 7, 1907, Application 
#902513, Certificate #882842
