A. * Mustered out with company May 29, 1865 * Served Aug. 25, 1862 - May 29, 1865 - 33 month 4 days * Taken prisoner at Gettysburg * He is a brother of Augustus Heffley * Eyes - Hazel; Hair - Sandy; Complexion - Fair; Height - 5' 7" * Occupation at enrollment - Wheel Right * He was in the following battles: Fredericksburg; Gettysburg, where he was taken prisoner and paroled on the field; Wilderness May 5, 1864 where he was captured and remained in a Rebel prison for six months. * Prisoner at Dansville, Va. * Dec. 12, 1863 He was reprimanded by Lt.
