Pa. * Died 1871 * Co. E 3rd Battalion Virginia (Christman's) Reserves, Confederate States of America * On Dec. 11 & 18 he signed receipts for clothing issued to him. * Three of his sons, Alfred, John and Sebastian, all served in the Union army during the Civil War. * Jonathan never came back from the war, even though he survived.
