* Mustered in Aug. 25, 1862 at Harrisburg, Pa. by Lieutenant Brayton, U. S. A. 
* Discharged at the hospital May 17, 1865 
* Served Aug. 25, 1862 - May 17, 1865 - 32 month 22 days 
* Disability - Disease of Lungs 
* Residence in 1925 - Garrett, Somerset Co. Pa.  
* Received a slight hand wound at Fredericksburg Dec. 13, 1862, returned to duty 
Apr. 1863 
* Eyes - Hazel; Hair - Sandy; Complexion - Fair; Heights - 5' 10"
