D and I 3rd Regiment Maryland Potomac Home Brigade Infantry * Muster and Descriptive Roll lists the following: Born in Wales, Great Britain, Age - 27, Occupation - Miner, Enlisted Feb. 27, 1864 at Lonaconing, Maryland for 3 years service, Height - 5' 2", Eyes - Dark, Hair - Dark, Complexion - Fair, Bounty paid (cannot read), Bounty due - $240 * Company D Muster Roll dated Mar. and Apr. 1864 lists the following: Bounty due new recruit, transferred to new company * Company I Muster Roll dated Jan. and Feb. 1865 lists him as absent, sick * Company I Muster Roll dated Mar. and Apr. 1865 lists him as absent, sick and as owing two cents for ordinance stores lost * Company Muster Out Roll dated Baltimore, Md. May 29, 1865 lists the following: Age - 27, Last paid to Apr. 30, 1864, Clothing account - Due soldier $3.51, Bounty paid - $100, Bounty due $200, absent sick since July 5, 1864 and stoppage two cents for ordinance stores lost. * Adjutant General's Office dated Apr. 3, 1880 lists the following: Admitted to hospital, Annapolis Junction, Md.
