Pa. 
* Private in Lieutenant Smith's Co. I 52nd Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Drafted 
* Enrolled Sept. 26, 1864 to serve 1 year or the duration 
* Mustered in Sept. 26, 1864 at age 27 in Chambersburg, Pa. 
* Discharged June 23, 1865 at Salisbury, North Carolina by reason of regiment 
being mustered out 
* Age 21 
* Height - 5'9"; Hair - Black; Complexion - Fair; Eyes - Blue 
* Occupation - Shoemaker 
* "This man was mustered out with a detachment in the field, being absent, no 
discharge was given. This one is granted to give him a clearance with the
