* Mustered in June 21, 1861 as Private in Camp Wilkins, Harrisburg, Pa. 
* Height - 5'9"; Hair - Lt. Brown; Complexion - Fair; Eyes - Grey 
* Occupation - Miller 
* Promoted to Sergeant, date unknown 
* Residence at enlistment - Thomas Mills, Pa. 
* Mustered out June 11, 1864 with company 
* He served in the following battles: Drainsville, seven days fight before 
Richmond, 2nd Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Cold Harbor, 
Wilderness, Spotsylvania and South Mt.
