Schrock's Co., after Oct. 2, 1863 1st Battalion Pa. Infantry * Enrolled at age 26 * Mustered in June 24, 1863 in New Centerville, Somerset Co. Pa. * Mustered out Jan. 8, 1864 in Harrisburg, Pa. * Private Co. H 187th Regiment Pa. Infantry * Enlisted Mar 25, 1864 at age 28 in Shanksville * Mustered in May 7, 1864 in Harrisburg, Pa * Mustered out Aug. 3, 1865 with company * Served May 7, 1864 - Aug. 3, 1865 - 14 month 26 days * Herman is a brother of Joseph W.
