* Born July 20, 1842 in Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Died June 13, 1922 in Geistown, Pa. 
* Private Co. K 136th Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enrolled Aug. 22, 1862 at age 20 in Johnstown, Pa. 
* Mustered in Aug. 27, 1862 
* In Feb. 1863 he was in Windmill Point Hospital for weeks with Diarrhea and 
Rheumatism 
* In Apr. 1863 he was taken to hospital in convalescent camp with Rheumatism 
* Mustered out May 29, 1863 with company 
* Discharged May 29, 1863 at Harrisburg, Pa. 
* Re-enlisted Sept. 3, 1864 at Johnstown, Pa. in Co. K 206th Regiment Pa. 
Infantry 
* Mustered in Sept. 9, 1864 
* Not accounted for 
* Discharged June 26, 1865 at Richmond, Va. 
* Invalid Pension Applied July 12, 1888 and Apr. 15, 1907, Application #663758,
