* Died 1912 in Garrett, Pa 
* Buried in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Private Co. D 133rd Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enrolled Aug. 5, 1862 at age 21 in Somerset, Somerset Co. Pa.  
* Mustered in Aug. 14, 1862 as Corporal in Harrisburg, Pa. 
* Paralyzed by the bursting of a shell, taken to hospital, failed to regain his 
health and was discharged. 
* Mustered out May 26, 1863 with company 
* Drafted Mar. 10, 1865 at Chambersburg, Pa. 
* Due to report Mar. 27 - 31, 1865 at Chambersburg, Pa.  
* Invalid Pension: Applied Jan. 28, 1891 and Feb. 18, 1907,Application #983446,
