* Admitted to Chesapeake General Hospital at Fort Monroe, Va. July 27, 1862 
* Returned to his unit in Nov. 
* Killed Dec. 13, 1862 at battle of Fredericksburg, Va. 
* Wounded at General Hospital 
* Taken prisoner since June 27, 1862, now paroled
