* Born 1839 
* Died Sept. 5, 1926 at age 87 years 5 month 20 days in Sand Patch, Somerset Co. 
Pa. 
* Buried in Dry Ridge Cemetery near Buffalo Mills, Pa. 
* Co. K 2nd Maryland Potomac Home Brigade Infantry 
* Taken captive, was in Libby and Belle Island prisons before being transferred 
to Andersonville, Georgia where he was imprisoned till the end of the war. 
* Residence in 1925 - Meyersdale, Somerset Co. Pa. 
* His three oldest brothers, Daniel, Hiram and Mark served in the Civil War.
