* Private Co. D 133rd Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enlisted Aug. 5, 1862 at age 25 in Somerset, Pa. 
* Mustered in Aug. 14, 1862 in Harrisburg, Pa.
* Mustered out May 26, 1863 
* Served Aug. 1862 - May 27, 1863 
* Wounded Dec. 13, 1862 at Fredericksburg, Va. 
* Disability - Wounded left forearm 
* Residence in 1925 - Cairnbrook, Somerset Co. Pa.  
* Wounded in left wrist and taken to hospital in Washington, D. C. . He was in 
hospital for four months. 
* Invalid Pension: Applied Feb. 9, 1867 and Apr. 13, 1907, Application #122071.
