E 80th Regiment Ohio Infantry * Enlisted Nov 2, 1861 at New Philadelphia, Ohio * Mustered in Nov 2, 1861 at New Philadelphia, Ohio * Widow Pension: Applied Aug. 10, 1863, Application #29638, Certificate #12974 * Elizabeth, widow of Alexander received $8 per month commencing July 3, 1863, plus $2 per month for each child under age 16 commencing July 25, 1866. On Mar. 7, 1904 Elizabeth received an increase in pension to $12 per month * Elizabeth (Meese) Rayl was last paid $12 to Apr. 4, 1910 has been dropped from pension roll because of death Apr. 23, 1910.
