Drafted Militia * Drafted Oct. 24, 1862 at age 35 in Harrisburg, Pa * Mustered in Nov. 1, 1862 in Harrisburg, Pa for 9 months * Mustered out Aug. 6, 1863 with company at Harrisburg, Pa * Spent winter of 1862 - 63 camped in Suffolk, Va. * Discharged Aug. 6, 1863 in Harrisburg, Pa. * Brother of Martin Miner * Tried for allegedly slandering a woman (Accusing her of having committed adultery with a married man).
