* Died July 13, 1916 in Lonaconing, Maryland 
* 1st Sergeant Co. K 2nd Maryland Potomac Home Brigade Infantry 
* Enlisted in Sept. 7, 1861 at Cumberland, Maryland for 3 years service
* Mustered in Oct. 31, 1861
* Company Muster Roster dated Jan. and Feb. 1864 lists him as on furlough for 
(15) fifteen days from Feb. 15, 1864 to Mar. 1, 1864 
* Company Muster Out Roll dated Oct. 31, 1864 lists the following: 1st Sergeant, 
age 29, mustered out Oct. 31, 1864 at Cumberland, Maryland, last paid to Apr. 
30, 1864, Clothing account - Due soldier $19.57 and bounty due $100   
* He is the son of Peter P. Petrie 
* Invalid Pension: Applied May 24, 1904 and Feb. 26, 1907, Application #1316748, 
Certificate #1085815
