* Enrolled Aug. 15, 1864 in Johnstown, Pa. 
* Mustered in Sept. 2, 1864 
* He was slightly wounded at Gravelly Run, but did not enter the hospital. 
* Feb. 21, 1865 he was granted a leave of absence of nine days. 
* In the winter of 1864-65 he was detailed help build railroads for one month 
* He was in the following battles: Yellow House, Sawdust Hill, Gravelly Run, 
Five Forks and several others 
* Mustered out June 4, 1865 with company 
* Discharged June 4, 1865 at Philadelphia, Pa.
