* Enlisted Oct. 10, 1862 at age 18 in Somerset, Pa. 
* Mustered in Oct. 29, 1862 in Harrisburg, Pa. for 3 years 
* Transferred to Co. I 191st Regiment Pa. Infantry June 1, 1864 
* Deserter from Rebel Army, joined this company and deserted May 5, 1864
