* Born Aug. 16, 1821 in Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Private Co. E 206th Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enrolled Sept. 3, 1864 at age 43 in Johnstown, Pa. 
* Discharged June 26, 1865 
* Jan. 31, 1865 he was detailed at Richmond to unload forage and served nine 
days in this way 
* Brother of Levi Sell
