Stewart, Dr. Henry C.

* Born 1830 in Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Appointed Postmaster at Frostburg, Md. by President Lincoln 
* In 1861 he had charge of the soldiers hospital in Cumberland and Clareysville, 
Md. 
* In 1862 he was appointed surgoen of the 3rd Maryland Volunteer Potomac Home 
Brigade Infantry 
* He served until the end of the war. 
* Invalid Pension: Applied July 21, 1881, Application #425662, Certificate 
#271082; Widow Pension: Application #302922, Certificate #207993
