* Private Co. D 133rd Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enrolled Aug. 5, 1862 at age 21 in Somerset, Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Mustered in Aug. 14, 1862 in Harrisburg, Pa. 
* Died Dec. 29, 1862 at Washington, D. C. of wounds received Dec. 13, 1862 at 
Fredericksburg, Va. 
* Died in Union General Hospital in Georgetown 
* Wounded twice, one ball lodged in his chest, the other passed through his 
lungs. 
* Buried in Military Asylum Cemetery 
* He is a half brother of Michael C. Lowry
