* Buried in Fritz St. Paul Cemetery, Brothersvalley Twp. Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Private Co. A 39th Regiment 10th Pa. Reserves Corps 
* Enrolled July 16, 1861 at age 19, in Allegheny Co. Pa. 
* Mustered in July 17, 1861 
* Mustered out June 11, 1864 with company 
* Served July 17, 1861 - June 11, 1864 - 24 month 24 days 
* Deserted Sept. 21, 1862, dropped from the rolls in pursuance of General Order 
No. 92 War Dept.
