Pa. by F. A. Edmunds * Mustered in Aug. 25, 1862 at Harrisburg, Pa. by Lieutenant Brayton, U. S. A. * Eyes - Brown; Hair - Dark; Complexion - Fair; Height - 6' 2" * Occupation at enrollment - Farmer * He was left at the hospital at Frederick, Md. Oct. 1862 and returned to regiment unfit for duty on Jan. 1863. He was again sent to the hospital where he received his discharge * Jan. 4, 1865 he was examined by surgeon and found unfit for active service. * Transferred to Vet.
