* Served Sept. 30, 1861 - June 20, 1864 - 32 month 20 days 
* Height - 5'10 1/2"; Hair - Light; Complexion - Fair; Eyes - Blue 
* Occupation - Clerk 
* Residence - Gepharts, Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Mortally wounded June 17 or 18, 1864 at Lynchburg, Virginia, Comrades 
succeeded in bringing him off the battlefield.
