* Residence at enlistment - Berlin, Somerset Co. Pa.

* Re-enlisted Feb. 23, 1864 at Cumberland, Md. 
* Wounded at battle of Hay Market, Va. 
* Taken prisoner May 15, 1864 at New Market, Virginia and died a prisoner in a 
field hospital
