* Private in Captain F. B. Longs' Co. G 54th Regiment Pa. Infantry commanded by 
Colonel J. M. Campbell 
* Enrolled Dec. 22, 1861 to serve 3 years or the duration 
* Discharged Jan. 31, 1865 at Cumberland, Maryland by reason of Surgeon's 
Certificate of Disability incurred since last enlistment and expiration of term 
of service 
* Served Sept. 17, 1861 - Sept. 16, 1864 - 35 month 29 days 
*  Physically suitable to enter or re-enlist in the Veteran Reserve Corps
