* Died Apr. 27, 1920 in Friedens, Pa. 
* Private in Captain Harry G. Elder's Co. C 142nd Regiment Pa. Infantry 
commanded by Colonel Cummins 
* Enrolled Aug. 14, 1862 to serve 3 years or the duration 
* Mustered in Aug. 26, 1862 
* Discharged Jan. 8, 1864 at De Camp General Hospital, New York, U. S. Troops in 
city and harbor, David's Island by reason of 
* Surgeons Certificate of Disability 
* Discharged for wounds received July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg, Pa. 
* Age 22 
* Height - 5'9"; Hair - Dark; Complexion - Dark; Eyes - Dark 
* Occupation - Farmer 
* $75 bounty paid July 29, 1866 
* $75 additional bounty paid Sept. 18, 1867 
* Gun shot wound depriving him of entire use of right arm, disability 3/4  
* Twice wounded at Gettysburg, Pa. Severe wounds, left arm and right breast, 
penetrating the lung and paralyzing the right arm. He has no use of right arm.
