Younkin, Aaron Schrock

* Born July 31, 1845 in Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Private Co. C 5th Regiment Iowa Cavalry 
* Enlisted Mar. 26, 1864 as Private 
* Discharged Aug. 11, 1865 in Nashville, Tennessee 
* While in service he was stricken with measles and typhoid fever 
* He was a brother of Alexander C and Walter S. Younkin
