Infantry * Enrolled Aug. 6, 1862 at age 18 in Addison, Somerset Co. Pa. * Mustered in Aug. 14, 1862 as Musician in Harrisburg, Pa. * Mustered out May 26, 1863 * Re-enlisted Feb. 24, 1864 * Orderly Sergeant Co. E 116th Pa.
