For the past ten or twelve years Mrs. Casebeer has been engaged in supplying the people of this place with vegetables and berries, and her one horse wagon was a familiar sight on the streets. Saturday she drove a new horse on a trial trip, and in coming around the corner at the Somerset House, made too short a turn. The wagon was upset, and the venerable lady driver thrown under the wheels. The horse became frightened and ran away, dragging the wagon over the body of the helpless woman, causing the above stated injuries. She was carried to the home of Dr. J. M. Louther, where she was given attention, and where she remains in very critical condition.
