February 2, 1876 We learn that a son of Mr. Joseph Mason, of Milford township, who has been teaching school near Wittenburg, is lying ill with small-pox at his father’s house. It will be remembered that our Berlin correspondent last week, gave an account of a death that had occurred in the neighborhood of Wittenburg, and which the attending physician had pronounced French measles. It appears that young Mason, among others, attended the funeral and was shortly afterward, taken with a malignant type of small-pox.
