The Somerset herald: (Somerset, Pa.) 1870-1936: April 14, 1875
On April 6th 1875, Mr. William Aughinbaugh of Milford, aged 79 years, 9 months and
16 days. Father Aughinbaugh was born in Cumberland county, lived in Franklin county,
came to this county about 40 years ago, lived a number of years in New Centreville,
thence moved to Springfield, Fayette county. Growing old, and health failing him he
moved back to Milford twp. last fall to live with his son-in-law Peter Brubaker,
where he died on the above date. He was a fine christian gentleman and a good
citizen.
