All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ JOHN ADAMS Fatally Injured by Falling Forty Feet John Adams, 19-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Adams, of Jennerstown, expired about 1 p.m., Wednesday, in the Johnstown Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained earlier in the day when he fell from the second floor of the new White Star Hotel to the cement basement. Adams went to work early Wednesday morning and was last seen on the second floor scaffolding. He was found a short time afterwards unconscious on the cellar floor, having fallen a distance of 40 feet. The victim remained in an unconscious condition until death.
