  EMERSON H ALEXANDER
  
  Emerson H. Alexander, 61, of 118 South Water Street, Frostburg, Md., died
  May 18, 1983 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland.  Born in Accident,
  Maryland, he was a son of the late Earl Alexander and Margaret (Frickey)
  Alexander, of Accident.  He was a retired equipment operator with the State
  Highway Administration and was a member of the Frostburg Church of the
  Brethren.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marie E. (DeWitt) Alexander, a
  daughter, Mrs. Betty L. Critchfield, Salisbury; a brother, Richard
  Alexander, Gaithersburg, Maryland; a sister, Mrs. Marie Baird, Pittsburgh,
  and three grandchildren.  Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville, Maryland, where services were held by Rev. Harry Paterson,
  Rev. Richard Greene and Rev. Everett Spence.  Interment was in Bear Creek
  Brethren Cemetery, Accident.
