  ALLEN
  Gladys L Allen, 77, of Greensburg, died Oct. 22, 2002, in Westmoreland
  Regional Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born Nov. 11, 1924 in Rockwood, the
  daughter of the late John and Ethel Rome.  Prior to her retirement, Gladys
  worked for Mellon Bank in Greensburg.  In addition to her parents, she was
  predeceased by her husband, Theodore C. Allen.  There will be no public
  visitation or services.  Memorial donations may be made to the Cat Adoption
  Rescue Effort, 812 Smithfield St., Mt. Plesant, Pa., 15666.  Barnhart
  Funeral Home, Greensburg, in charge of arrangements.
