Hocking, Main Street, this place, on Monday. Mr. Allen was born in Philadelphia, March 12, 1836. In 1873 he came to Meyersdale and for 25 years he was the efficient agent of the B. & O. railroad. Besides Mrs. Hocking, he is survived by three other daughters: Miss Louisa Badger Allen of Pittsburg; Mrs. Walter H. Eisenbrandt of Baltimore, and Mrs. Donald G. Keeble of Pittsburg. Mrs. Allen preceded her husband to the grave by several years. Funeral services will be held today at 1 p. m. following which interment will be made in Union Cemetery, this place.
