  GRACE ALTFATHER
  
  Grace V. Altfather, 88, Greenville, formerly of Berlin, died Oct. 8,
  Greenville.  She was born in Stoneycreek Twp.  June 23, 1889, daughter 
  of the late Jefferson and Emma Bauman Altfather.  She was preceded in 
  death by a brother, the Rev. Dr. Alton Altfather.  She is survived by 
  a sister, Leora, Greenville.  She was a member of the Trinity United 
  Church of Christ, Berlin, and the Berlin Ladies  Rebekah Lodge No 277, 
  for which she had been treasure for 24 years.  She was a graduate of 
  Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Ind.  She was a retired music
  teacher and a Sunday school teacher for many years in Berlin.  Friends 
  were received in the John-Kuhlman Funeral Home Inc. where services 
  were with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating.  
  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemtery.
