  ALTFATHER

  Leora Altfather, 80, formerly of Berlin, died Oct. 19, 1977 in Greenville
  Hospital, Greenville, Pa.  She was born June 3, 1897 in Stoneycreek
  Township, and the daughter of Jefferson and Emma (Baruman) Altfather.  She
  was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister, Grace
  who died Oct. 8.  She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Ada Barbara Miller of
  Edmonds, Okla., and Mrs. Nancy Ann Moore of Falls Church, Va.  She was a
  graduate of Valparaiso University, Ind., a member of Lady Rebekah Lodge 277
  of Berlin, a retired school teacher, and a member of the Trinity United
  Church of Christ in Berlin.  Friends will be received from 7 - 9 pm Friday
  at the Johnson - Kuhlman Funeral Home in Berlin, where funeral services
  will be held at 11 am Saturday, with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler,
  officiating.  Interment, IOOF Cemetery in Berlin.
