  ALTFATHER

  M. Geneva Altfather, 86, of Berlin died Jan. 18, 1995, at Patriot Manor.
  Born Feb. 6, 1908, in Berlin.  Daughter of George and Ada (Miller)
  Altfather.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers Daniel and William.
  Survived by sisters Isabelle Elliott of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Richard
  (Clara) Sarver of North Versailles.  Retired Berlin Brothersvalley school
  teacher.  Graduate of Berlin High School, and California State Teachers
  School and attended Penn State University.  Member of Delta Kappa Gamma and
  Retired Teacher's Association.  Member of Berlin Brethren Church, where she
  taught Sunday school for 62 years and was a former leader of SMM Group and
  former deaconess.  Honorary member of Berlin Brothersvalley FFA Chapter and
  life member of Pennsylvania and National FFA organizations.  Family will
  receive friends from 7-9 pm Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 am Saturday.  The
  Rev. Bryan G. Karchner officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
  Memorial contributions may be given to Berlin Brethren Church, Berlin Pa.
