  ALTFATHER

  Mary E. Altfather, 90, Berlin, died July 4, 1989, at her residence.  She was
  born March 19, 1899, in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of John Bowman and
  Nellie (Smith) Krause.  She was preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Clarence W. Sr.; daughters, Mary E. Landis and Betty Lou; brothers, Robert
  and Claude Krause.  She is survived by these children: C.W. "Bill" Jr.,
  married to the former Evelyn Will, Somerset; Mrs. Alvin R. (Jean) Lambert,
  Berlin; Mrs. Robert (Dottie) Deeteer of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Chester (Sandie)
  Termin of Temperance, Mich.; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.  Sister
  of: Florence Wilkinson of California; Cleda Mosgrave of Somerset; Mae
  Dively, Harold, Fred, and Blair Krause, all of Berlin.  Member of Trinit UCC
  of Berlin.  Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held Friday at 11 am, the Rev.
  Carl W. Schwarm officiating.  Interment, IOOF Cemetery, Berlin.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to Trinity UCC Memorial Fund.
