   Susan Fair Alumbaugh, 63, Friedens, died Sept. 4, 2008, at her mother's home.
  Born June 13, 1945, in Clarksburg, W.Va., daughter of Edward and Margaret Jean
  (Fair) Alumbaugh. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Friedens;
  children, Anthony Scott Berkey, Stoystown; Chad Berkey, San Diego; and Bradley
  Berkey, married to the former Melissa Miller, Friedens; grandson, Mason James
  Berkey; brothers, David E. Alumbaugh, married to the former Suzanne Reed,
  Friedens; and Stan Lee Alumbaugh, married to the former Sandra Evans,
  Cumberland, Md.; and fiancˇ, Gary Barclay, Friedens. A 1963 graduate of Forbes
  High School. Retired in 1997 from SCI-Laurel Highlands where she worked as a
  counselor, also a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, the ladies auxiliary for
  FOE Aerie 1801, VFW Post 554 and American Legion Post 181. No viewing or
  visitation. A private service will be held at  the convenience of the family.
