Anderson, 78, Markleysburg, passed away Aug. 2, 2007. He was born March 26, 1929, in Dunbar, a son of the late Richard and Ellen Anderson. He is preceded in death by his sons, Glenn and Terry Anderson;, grand- daughter, Karen Anderson; brother, Robert Anderson; sister, Ethel Rugg; half sisters, Anna Mae Thomas and Mae Foust; half brother, Milton Hendrickson. Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Eldora I. (Morrison) Anderson; sons, Eddy and wife, Donna Anderson, Markleysburg; Barry and wife, Kimberly Anderson, Elliottsville; and daughter, Debbie and husband, James Nypaver Jr., Uniontown.; grandchildren, Mindy Kessler, Eric Anderson, Crystal Anderson, Jenna Nypaver, Neely and Bryce Anderson; great-grandchild Kody Myers; and sisters, Virginia Deal and Viola Hyatt. Bernard was a member of the Markleysburg Union Church, the operating engineers local 66 for 46 years and he is a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and until 2 p.m. Sunday, the hour of service, in the Rodney S. Turner Funeral Home, 254 Main St., Markleysburg. The Rev. Paul Werner and Rev. Michael Grantz officiating. Interment will be in Thomas Cemetery.
