FRANK R. ANDERSON

  Frank R. Anderson, 85, died June 14, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. S. 
Whetsell of Addison.  He was born at Cessna, in Bedford County, a son of Jacob 
T. and Anna M. Anderson.  His wife, Mrs. Hannah Naomi Anderson, preceded him in 
death as did two daughters and three sons.  He was a member of the Lutheran 
Church and active in church work, having been superintendent of the Sunday 
school and choir leader at St. John's in Cessna for years.  Later, he moved his 
membership to St. Paul's church in Addison Township when he came to live in 
Somerset County.
  Surviving are a son and two daughters, Harry R. Anderson, Mrs. Lloyd Bender 
and Mrs. E. S. Whetsell; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two brothers 
and four sisters.
  Funeral services were in charge of Rev. Jerome V. Guss, with Mrs. Guss playing 
two piano numbers, "Still, Still With Thee" and "Beyond the Sunset".  Burial 
under direction of H. B. Richebarger, was in the Addison Cemetery.
