ANDERSON Mrs. Hannah L. Anderson, wife of Frank Anderson, died Saturday, November 14, 1931, at the family home in Listonburg, aged 64 years, 3 months and 26 days. December 27, 1886, she was united in marriage with Frank R. Anderson, which union was blessed with eight children, four of whom, two sons and two daughters, having preceded their mother to the spirit world. The surviving children are: Harvey R. Anderson, of Petersburg, Pa.; Mrs. Lloyd Bender, of Listonburg; Mrs. Edward Whetsell, of Addison, and Mrs. Mildred Johnson, at home. Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of the late Henry and Emma Richardson, and was born at Fairhope, this county. Four sisters and two brothers also survive - Ellsworth Richardson of Upper Middletown, Pa.; Mrs. Fred Hanning, of Friedens; Mrs. W. P. Diveley, of Meyersdale; Mrs. Mollie Groom, Mrs. Harry Rizer and Charles Richardson, of Hyndman. Fourteen grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted at the late home of the deceased on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was made Tuesday morning in Anderson Cemetery at Cessna, Bedford County. The departure from this life of Mrs. Anderson will be noticed in the community in which she resided for so long a period, but the greatest loss is felt by her family, for she was in every sense strictly a home- loving woman and a devoted wife and mother, always anxious for the comfort and welfare of her loved ones.
