     Harry F. Anderson Sr., 78, of Somerset RD 2 amd Deerfield Beach, Fla., 
  died Sept. 27, 1994, at Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 21, 1915, in Portage.
  Son of Charles and Annie (Tickerhoof) Anderson.  Preceded in death by 
  parents; first wife, the former Ruth Sebring; daughter, Ruth Ann, and son,
  Charles Norman.  Survived by his wife, the former Victoria (Custer) Pile, 
  and these children: Harry F. Anderson, Jr., Greensburg, and Suzanne Anderson,
  Tamarac, Fla.; several grandchildren; stepchildren: Donna West, Greensburg;
  Thomas Pile, Berlin; Barry Pile, Evans City and Debra Faix of Wentworth, N.J.
  Brother of Estelle Lauffer, Dover, Del.; Sister Mary Giles, Dallas, Pa., and
  John K. Anderson, Sr., Melbourne, Fla.  Member of FOP and the Elks. Graduate
  of Pennsylvania State Police Academy.  Retired as a sergeant on Dec. 31, 1971,
  at the Grennsburg barracks after 34 years service.  Family will receive friends
  at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville, after Mass of Christian
  Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Rev. Harold Biller.  Interment at convenience of 
  family.  Memorial contributions may be given to In-Touch Hospice, 651 South
  Center Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, in charge of
  arrangements.
