  Virginia Ruth (Firestone) Anderson, 88, passed away to be with our Lord April
  18, 2005, at Church of the Brethren Home. Born June 25, 1916, in Confluence, a
  daughter of Samuel Molachi and Jessie "Gertrude" (Conn) Firestone. Preceded in
  death by parents; brother, Ray; sisters, Leora and Reba and son-in-law, Tom
  Suhr. Virginia Ruth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
  Survived by her devoted husband, James Ralph Anderson; loving children: Barbara
  D. Durst, married to Don R. Durst, Windber; and Karen S. Suhr, Pensacola, Fla.;
  also grandchildren: James D. Durst and wife, Leslie, Carmel, Ind.; Jeri Linn
  (Durst) Gallucci and husband, Frank, Camp Hill; J.W. Durst and wife, Rita,
  Madisonville, Ky.; Jason M. Durst and wife, Diane, Burkburnett, Texas; and
  Heather K. Suhr, Pensacola; great-grandchildren: J.D. and Gretchen Durst;
  Aubree, Nicole and Frank Gallucci, Courtney and Nathan Durst and Jordan Durst;
  great-great-granddaughter, Madison Durst; also numerous nieces, nephews and
  cousins. First president of Windber Area High School's Band Parents. Member of
  First Lutheran Church, Windber, where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m.
  Saturday. The Rev. Eleanor Abarno officiating. In lieu of flowers please make
  donations to Windber Hospice or First Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Forest
  Lawn Cemetery.
