Andrews, a retired farmer of Townsend, Ontario, Canada, died at his home Thursday morning, Dec. 26, at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his wife, one son, Merritt W. Andrews, residing on the home farm, one daughter, Arley, wife of Rev. A. F. Richards, of Meyersdale, and four grandchildren, Clair Andrews, with his father on the farm, Hazel I. Richards, piano instructor in Somerset, G. Morley Roberts, a member of the faculty of the Meyersdale High School, and G. Pauline Richards, a student in Albright College, Reading, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Andrews frequently visited their daughter at Meyersdale, having spent the greater part of the winter here a few years ago. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Scotland, Ontario. Rev. and Mrs. Richards and two daughters left Meyersdale Thursday evening, Dec. 26, to attend the funeral. Meyersdale Republican, January 2, 1930
