He was born in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, March 10, 1873, a son of the late Marcellus and Ruena Andrews. He was aged 59 years, 1 month and 4 days. He spent most of his younger days in the vicinity of Ursina. He received his education at the Soldiers' Orphans Home, Jumonville, and lived in the Connellsville region many years. His body was brought from Blairsville last Saturday to the home of his sister, Mrs. Nora Holt, in Ursina. Surviving are four brothers, Harry Andrews, address unknown; Garfield W. Andrews and Earl Andrews, Chicago, Ill., and Lee Andrews, Pittsburgh. Four sisters also survive - Mrs. Mabel Ankney, Murdoch; Mrs. Nora Holt, Ursina; Mrs. Susan Reid, Chicago, and Mrs. Minnie Murphy, Uniontown. Two brothers, Albert and Charles B. Andrews, preceded him to the grave. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Nora Hoyt on Monday at 10 a.m., Rev. W. L. Morgan, minister of the Confluence Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment in the Ursina Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, April 21, 1932
