  William F. Andrews, 72, Hollsopple, died April 9, 2005, at Lee Regional
  Hospital. Born Feb. 3, 1933, in Hollsopple, son of Joseph Frank and Sophia
  (Shelko) Andrews. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Mary Louise
  Koontz; infant brother, Joseph; brother, Joseph and sisters, Dorothy Patterson
  and Josephine Andrews. Survived by these children: William G., married to the
  former Sherri Blough, Davidsville; Michael J., Somerset and Catherine J.,
  married to David Berkebile, Friedens. Also survived by grandchildren: Sara M.,
  Sonya L. and Kristen L. Andrews and Miranda L. Berkebile. Brother of Mary
  Streilein and Anna Mae More, both of Florida; Patricia Horn, Arizona; Robert
  Andrews, Tire Hill and Janet Pattavina, Falls Church, Va. Navy veteran of the
  Korean War. Member of VFW Post 8861. Hollsopple. Retired Local 910 Labors
  Union, Johnstown. He was an avid gardener and history buff and was a fan of the
  Pirates and Steelers. Family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc.,
  Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The
  Rev. Father Karl Kolodziejski, OFM, Conv., officiating. Funeral Mass will be
  held 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. Interment,
  Maple Spring Cemetery. Those who wish, please make donations to the American
  Diabetes Foundation.
